Diverse wildlife. As there is reach and diverse flora at the archipelago of Lastovo, there is a significant number of animal species (141 species of vertebrates and 118 endangered species ). Birds are especially common – since Lastovo islands are a resting spot for numerous migratory birds on their voyage from Europe to Africa (during autumn) and back from Africa to Europe (during spring). Even rear birds as Falco Eleonorae can be seen there.
A new album about Lastovo has been added. Over 100 pictures illustrate the natural and cultural beauty of Lastovo and Vila Fantela.
