Lastovo is well connected to Split and Vela Luka.

Each day there is a ferry (5 hours) and a catamaran (2.5 hours) from Split. You can also use the Vela Luka port on Korcula(Google Map).

Getting to Split

The bus station and the railway station in Split are located in the very center of the city, right next to the city harbor where you can reach the ferries to Lastovo. 

Getting to Split by car

• From Zagreb by Highway A1 Zagreb-Split,
• Using the road through the inland (Zagreb - Karlovac - Plitvice Lakes National Park (must see!)- Knin - Sinj - Split)
• Traveling along the Adriatic coast from the north (Rijeka - Zadar - Šibenik [Bungee]- Split)

As an alternative, you can arrive in Split with your car by taking a car ferry from Rijeka to Split, from Dubrovnik to Split, and from major Italian harbors on the Adriatic coast (Pescara, Ancona, Bari).
Note that the availability of transport from Italian ports varies according to season, with more connections being available during summer season (from June until September). For more details please check:

Getting to Split by airplane

• If you take the plane. you can get to the Split Airport. Busses and taxies provide transportation from the airport to the port of Split.
